Description

During this event, attendees will learn about the proposed changes on discharge planning that are set to affect CAHs and that likely will go into effect in early 2017. Additionally, we'll explore proposed changes to the Hospital Improvement Act, which calls for required antibiotic stewardship programs, changes in infection control standards, and improvements in nursing and medical records.

Our expert will outline the recent changes to the CAH CMS CoPs and their corresponding survey hot spots. Further, we'll summarize the top problematic standards for CAHs using examples from the CMS quarterly deficiency memo.
